Fredrick Mayoga is a member Elected Trustee and the current Trust Secretary  in GDCSRBS currently serving his first term. He was elected into the scheme leadership in May 2024. Fredrick is a Certified Trustee having successfully completed the TDPK. Professionally, he is a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst, with keen interests in Alternatives, Portfolio Management, Wealth Management and Structured Products.

Fred has extensive expertise in Geophysical Exploration, majorly in Geo - Electrical methods, having worked in the geothermal fields in Kenya, Rwanda , Tanzania and Ethiopia. Within Kenya, Fred has worked in Menengai, Mwananyamala, Homa Hills, Baringo, Suswa, Emuruapoli, Korosi, Paka and Silale Geothermal fields.

Professionally, he is a Certified Engineering Technician having graduated from the Technical University of Kenya. Fred is also a Telecommunications expert, being registered as a Telecommunication Technical Personnel class A by the
Communications Authority of Kenya.

Mayoga is an active member of the Institution of Engineering Technologists and Technicians - Kenya, and was nominated to the organizing committee of the IET - K Exhibition in Naivasha that was held in 2024.

Prior to becoming a Trustee, he had served GDC under various capacities of leadership, starting with Secretary and then Chairman of GDC Staff welfare Club. In trade Union, he was the first interim Vice Chair of KETAWU Geothermal Branch and was appointed the union deputy leader. Currently, he serves in the board of Management of Lady Ann Delamere Secondary school where he is the Vice Chairperson of the Board and chairs the SIC (School Infrastructure Committee) Committee.

In trade Unionism, Fred is a Committee member of KETAWU Geothermal Branch (2026 - 2031) and sits in the CBA Negotiations team representing the union.

In GDCSRBS, Fred chairs the Finance and Investment Committee and is an active member of the Administration and Governance Committee.

Fred has also attended the supervisory Skills certification course from the College of Insurance, trained in CBA Negotiations by Kenya School of Government and attended several trainings on Investments, governance , management and leadership.

Fred’s aspiration is to see members retire with an improved Income Replacement Ratio, by advancing sound investment decisions.
