Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC)
GDCSRBS members have the option to make Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) to boost their retirement savings beyond the mandatory monthly contribution. While the employer (Sponsor) will continue contributing the standard 14.5% of the member’s basic salary, this amount does not increase to match any additional contributions made by the member.
To begin making AVCs, a member must notify the sponsors Human Resource Office in writing. These top-up contributions are made on top of the mandatory 7.5% of your basic salary, which is the standard contribution required from employees under the Scheme’s Trust Deed and Rules.
